Airlie Beach is a great place to base yourself if you’re keen to explore the magnificent Whitsunday Islands. Decide how many nights you can handle in paradise and book the corresponding package: 3 days/2 nights, 4 days/3 nights or 5 days/4 nights. You can always add on extra nights if you want to stay longer! Accommodation suits all budgets and tastes and can either be booked in dorm or double/twin rooms.
Airlie Beach Lazy Daze Stayput also includes a spectacular activity. Choose between the best of the Whitsundays: a day at the Great Barrier Reef or a high-speed Camira Sailing trip to Whitehaven Beach.
Airlie Beach:
Positioned on a picturesque peninsula that reaches out into the Whitsunday waters, Airlie Beach town is an ideal base for exploring. There is a huge array of holiday enjoyment on the mainland, at the islands and in the surrounding Whitsunday waters. A lively little town, Airlie Beach punches above its weight for evening entertainment with numerous restaurants, cafes, bars and nightclubs within close proximity to each other.
The Lazy Daze Stayput backpacker accomodation is at Base Airlie Beach Resort or Nomads Airlie Beach. The hotel accommodation is at Club Crocodile Resort.
Both Base and Nomads are quality budget accommodation with a great reputation and are situated in prime locations, close to all the action. Club Crocodile is an affordable fully serviced hotel in a quieter location on the edge of the Airlie Beach township. From Club Crocodile, we recommend taking the boardwalk waterfront walk into Airlie Beach or if it’s too warm for a walk, a regular bus service is less than a 5 minutes to the main street.
Great Barrier Reef Adventures:
An exciting full day trip to the outer Great Barrier Reef! Spend time enjoying the underwater viewing chamber and the only giant waterslide on the Great Barrier Reef!
