Features
NEW tag-along driver tours to comply with government regulations from 1st July. This driver is purely there to set a pace whilst driving on the beach to keep you safer! You will still beable to drive on Fraser as normal if you meet our driver requirements!
Dingos is the Gateway to Fraser Island located 1 1/2 hours north of Noosa. Our facilities included 7 bed dorms all with ensuite and air con PLUS laundry facilities, kitchen and FREE BBQ's, pool, chillout gazebo, and a fully licensed bar with live music nights! Dingo's is 2 minutes walk to the beach, only a short walk to the Coloured Sands and Carlo Sandblow. Feed the Dolphins daily or hire a bike, surfboard or bodyboard or just laze on the beach!
Ages: 18-40 only
Accommodation:2 nights camping on Fraser Island PLUS 3 bonus nights at Dingos backpackers in Rainbow Beach!
Dingos Backpackers:7 share mixed ensuite dorms, FREE pancake breaky with tea and coffee every morning. $5 meals each night, fully licensed bar, pool, internet, 2 mins walk to the beach and daily FREE trips to the local beauty spot'Carlo Sandblow'.
Vehicles:4WD with power steering, 8 people per 4WD.
Driver Requirements:To drive on Fraser you MUST be 18 or over with a FULL manual license. You must have held this license for a minimum of 1 year and you must have the license with you.
Note:Must attend a orientation meeting the day before your Fraser departure at 3:30pm in Dingos Hostel. Cancellations and changes are NOT permitted within 72 hours of arrival date at Dingos.
Itinerary
The comprehensive briefing on the day before your tour will provide information to prepare you for this exciting journey.
We cater for your tour, so you don’t need to worry about what to eat for the next 3 days. You will have more time to spend relaxing by the pool, getting to know your mates.
In the morning you will wake ready and keen to embark on the adventure ahead. So with pancakes and tea or coffee for breakfast you are ready to roll.
The morning will mostly consist of reducing the size of the bag you are taking while you and your fellow group mates pack, check off gear and prepare for beach driver training.
Luckily it is only a short 10 minutes by ferry before you are there ... in paradise.
With your itinerary and map onboard you’ll head off without a care in the world to experience all the beauty the island has to offer. There is so much to see and experience.
Lakes, crystal clear creeks, massive sand dunes, lush tropical rainforests, lookouts and coloured sands by day, moonlight, stars and dingos by night.
