Half Day Barron River Rafting

White Water Rafting is the most exciting and fun way to discover the pristine rainforest of Tropical North Queensland, and has the advantage of departures all year round, tropical water temperatures and ease of access to compliment breath-taking scenery and rapids.

What to Bring Rafting:
Your ticket and POB Levy of $25
Secured footwear is mandatory. Lace-up sandshoes or reef sandals that WILL get wet - rental shoes are available for $4.
Swimming costume and Towel
Change of clothes (Important!!)
Water resistant 15+ sunscreen
Money for photos and souvenirs
Cap or sun visor which can be worn under your safety helmet
Items can be left on our coach while rafting. Please do not wear any jewellery– we advise that you leave your valuables in your hotel room.
You will need to sign an adventure waiver form.
NB: Minimum age for Rafting is 13 years old.

| 1500– 1645 | Receive a safety briefing and learn paddling techniques and commands, before commencing your rafting trip through the very picturesque Barron Gorge. Tackle grade 2 and 3 rapids including the infamous Rooster Tail where action photos will be taken, before cooling off with a refreshing swim in Lake Placid. | |
| 1645 - 1715 | Change into dry clothes.Enjoy some Tea / Coffee / water on completion of your rafting.View photo proofs of your days action. | |
