The Trip:
You depart from Pier E 1 in the Cairns Marlin Marina for a fast transfer to your first destination, the world famous bird nesting sanctuary, exotic Michaelmas Cay and you are the first to arrive! Where for 2.5 hours you can snorkel or dive in the calm, sheltered waters on the beach.
Then its off to Seastar Lagoon, at the best part of exciting Hasting Reef for another 2.5 hours of snorkelling and diving where now better prepared after your experience at Michaelmas Cay you to are now able to experience the varieties of colourful reef fish, giant clams, coral, pet fish, reef sharks, dolphins and whales during their migration.

Hat, towel, sun screen, camera.....and a smile!
Optional Extras:
Underwater cameras, cold drinks, chips, chocolates, latte, mocha, hot chocolate, cappucino, espresso, transfers from accom, souvenir t-shirts and diving.
Itinerary
Seastar is quick, arriving at Michaelmas Cay in just over an hour. Scuba Dive or snorkel from Seastar. Take the ferry to the beach and join in our guided snorkel tours starting from the calm sheltered waters of the Island.
After spending the morning at the Michaelmas Cay, we leave when the crowds arrive and take a short cruise to Hastings Outer Reef. Enjoy listening to our Reef Interpretation talk, join in our Glass bottom boat tour or our guided snorkel tours, or you can enjoy Scuba diving if you wish.
With a generous two and a half hours at both reef locations, ample time is available to fully enjoy all that each offers.
Departures / Pickups
Check in at 07:30am at E-Finger Marlin Marina Cairns. Seastar leaves at 8am.
